I am still working as a financial journalist - over 25 years now (yikes) but I am pursuing a fiction writing career, well the start of one. I am working on my second novel (the first one is still gathering dust in a drawer) through a Masters in Creative Writing at Wits. So when I am published if you all buy my book/s, I could do this labour of love full time. I wish!
In 2013 we moved back to Johannesburg (after 11 years or so in Durban). I work as one of the editors at a weekly business newspaper.
I love being a mom to two boys (age 11 and 8). I have a fab husband, who being a freelance writer also doubles up as a stay-at-home dad and does most of the cooking. I am blessed, truly.
I love living in Joburg. We live in an old house in an old suburb, nothing fancy and a bit rambly, and when I can I work in the garden - which is my soul time.
Lovely pic of you and Herb and the family Sam . We are feeling long overdue a visit to SA as a family - but good news is that my mum is planning to come over in January . Wouldn't it be cool if we could overlap at Ngwenya one year?
